An Important Update Regarding the Aberlemno & District Community Council
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the Aberlemno & District Community Council, effective 6th October 2026
Community councils exist to serve as a voice for residents, but they rely entirely on the dedication, time, and passion of local volunteers to function. Regrettably, due to a shortage of new members stepping forward to join our committee membership so we are no longer quorate. Combined with a gradual decline in wider community and resident engagement, it is unfortunately no longer viable for the council to continue its work.
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported, collaborated with, and participated in our community council over the years. It has been a true privilege to work alongside people who care so deeply about Aberlemno and our shared local area.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we hope that the strong community spirit of Aberlemno and District will continue to thrive in new and different ways.
